Review: Entourage

Okay so I’m a bit late with this review seeing as the last episode of entourage aired a couple of months ago. But better late then never!

Entourage is certainty one of my favorite TV shows of all time, and rumor has it that even President Barak Obama is a fan of the famous TV show! And now that the show is over for good it’s a good time to think back of what we liked and off course the things we didn’t like.

So this review will as you might understand be a bit different because it will be very broad because it will reflect the TV show in total. Not just a season or episode.

The main plot of the TV show is that we follow up-and-coming movie star Vincent Chase and as the title says his entourage. Vincent’s entourage consists of his older brother who is a struggling want to be actor called Johnny Drama, his friend Turtle who is the designated driver, and one more friend Eric a.k.a E, who quite quickly gets the role as Vincent’s manager. Of course like any famous actor Vince has an agent, in this case the hard working stressed agent named Ari Gold.

Through out the series it is mostly about how Vincent’s friends and employed people work towards making him a huge movie star! Like most celebrities he battles with bad reviews bad press and a few flops, and of course there are successes involved as well. One of the moves that Vince makes is called “Aquaman” and it makes movie history as it earns more money than spider man did at the opening weekend.

I must say I love this Show for many reasons; it’s an easygoing fun and realistic TV show. And I really enjoy watching the famous and rich, dreaming of getting there one day myself! Another fun thing is that it involves a lot of “in real life” famous people to play themselves as guest stars. This includes celebs like Matt Damon, Jessica Alba, Snoop Dogg, and the list goes on and on.

As the TV show goes on the focus moves in a direction where we find out more about “behind” the movies and how Ari Gold have to go through a lot in order to keep Vincent Chase floating in a town like LA and at the same time make the relations with his family work. We also get more involved in the others careers as Johnny Drama gets some good TV show parts and how E starts his own Management business and finds the love of his life. Even the lazy and laidback friend Turtle gets some success when he gets involved in some business deals.

To sum up I have to say that the TV show Entourage is a great experience! Sadly it looses its touch towards the last two seasons, but I don’t want to get stuck in that rather then focus on the awesome show it really is! Sadly like I said before the last season has aired but hey, this show you can se again!

And there are some rumors that say they will make a movie, I am a bit skeptic towards it but who knows it might be fun, and maybe it will make up for the not so good last season!

Having in mind that entourage has delivered a lot of really good times in front of the TV I cant give it anything less than five Quick TV Guide tellys:
